Appointed by the President of the United States and confirmed by the U.S. Senate, Mr. Spoehel served as Chief Financial Officer of NASA from 2007 to 2009.  His four decades in technology and energy span from founding-stage ventures to Fortune 500 corporations, including Harris Corporation, ManTech, Hughes Aircraft, and Bank of America, with board service across the Americas and Europe.  He is an honors graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and Moore School of Electrical Engineering.
